Pulse Rifle
This short, odd looking semi-automatic rifle uses a kind of spark plug to superheat gas and propel its Magnesium-Cobolt rounds kinda like a pellet gun, only much faster than a standard weapon could. It has a 30 round magazine of slugs and takes one powercell (size C) which is good for 60 shots. When the rounds impact they vaporize in a glowing burst of bluish-white gas, which has the added bonus of eating away armour like candy, for game purposes, treat all armour hit by pulse rounds as if it was ablative.
Tsunami 50mm Anti-Armour Cannon
The Tsunami is the largest, most powerful rifle on the planet and typically should not be given to Players. Ever. Essentially a shortened anti-aircraft Pulse-Cannon, the insane recoil has been reduced by a massive muzzle brake, a padded butt and a unique frame design which has the barrel and breech free floating on a hydralic suspension within the stock of the gun. Originally developed for space marines in powered armour, the weapon is very rare and nearly impossible to come by on the black market. It has a pump-action, three round revolver-type chamber, and is powered by one E cell which is good for for 60 shots. It has several different types of ammunition available to it, all of which are described in the Ammo section at the end of this page.
Charged Dart Rifle
This infantry support weapon takes advantage of the heavy use of electronics in the modern army. The charged dart rifle is an interesting combination of an electrolaser and a rail gun, firing hyper-velocity darts which have been super-charged with electro-magnetic radiation. They leave a glowing blue tail behind them, several metres long, and upon impact, in addittion to impaling damage deliver a huge burst of EM radiation to its target, disabling any electronics in the target, unless the entire target is encased in non-conductive material. Optical computer systems are not affected, and people will take 3d+2 stun damage (roll HT minus 1/2 damage, failure means they lose conciousness for 30-HT minutes) after they take the impaling damage!. Magazines are $250 apiece, they contain 20 darts and one C cell, which is fully discharged when the darts are gone.
Ammunition
I will explain all special types of Tsunami ammo. The price at the end of each explanation is for a single Tsunami round of that type.
APEX - Armour Percing EXplosive. Formerly known as HEAT rounds, these bullets house a powerful shaped charge, which focuses the explosion against what ever it was shot at, 6dx2, divide DR by 10.($40)
HEX - High EXplosive. Pretty self explanitory, these blow up when they hit, kinda like a grenade. Crush for 4d, then explode for 6dx2.($30)
SAIF - Saboted Anti-Infantry Flechette. These simply replace bullets with a bundle of tungsten-carbide spikes, held together with a plastic sabot. 5dx4 impaling damage, double damage that gets through armour then use overkill rules, if the round does more damage than the targets HT, then extra damage is halved and applied to the next thing inline behind the target, subtract the new targets DR and double what ever is left over, continue until there is no damage left to distriubute. ($40)
Slug - Its that simple, just a big piece of depleted uranium, goes really fast and hits stuff really hard... 10d crushing damage. Optional hollowpoint rounds (triple damage that gets through armour) are available for use against dinosaurs, really big alien monsters, humpback whales or anything fleshy and bigger than a tank! ($20)
